Freezing your intake?

Gruppe M tuner guru Mamoru Ogose talked up one of the wildest ideas to hit the internal-combustion engine in some time: a cryogenically cooled intake system that practically freezes the intake charge before it enters the combustion chamber. Ogose promises impressive power gains to any car.
Figured this would be better in forced induction. But could also be used for N/A as well

MMmmmmm...... Does'nt the pic of the teardrop bulb in the intake STRONGLY resemble the DEI (Design Engineering Inc) CRY-O-2 liquid CO system
Exact same setup except that DEI came out with this cooling system 1 year ahead of Gruppe M
Is this a rip-off on someone else's idea???
I wanted to try this setup instead of water/alky injection in place of an intercooler for my ZPI stage 0 but I figured I would be too lazy to fill up the canister with liquid CO each time it runs out....
I am on the water injection track again
But for those with easy access to refills, I envy you
This system with provide ultimate cooling for the F/I S/C cars with high boost intentions
See DEI's website, this setup can be made to flow through your intake charge pipe, fuel rails (great for return systems) and lastly venting on your FMIC.

Great product from a company that specialises in heat management under the hood
