Default Owners With Silver tC and Black or Gunmetal Rims......

post up ur pics if u have them. I am thinking of going aftermarket and was curious what u guys thought with the color combo? I had some chrome ones on my IS300 and I didnt really care for it.

I am not looking to spend a ton of cash like on Volks or so at the moment, but whats a cheap rim that is either black or gunmetal you can recommend?

TIA.

it might look decent. I was thinking about that too, but I found a killer deal on some rims my buddy is selling that are 19" hyperblacks.

My Motegi Track_Lite 17X7 in flat black just came in. But my car isn't here yet. I'll post some pics when I put them on. I'm putting Kumho race rubber on them for autocross so it may be a few weeks before I need to put them on, but I will take pictures.

If the work is done right, I don't think they'd look rice. Great idea actually, I may do the same. I'm thinking the lip should be left silver, it wouldn't look right if the entire wheel was black. Just need a definitive answer on the stock wheel's weight so I can decide if that's the path for me.

18"X7.5" HyperBlack (Gunmetal) Wheels + Dunlop FM901 225X40X18ZR Tires for $899 installed @ discounttirecenters.com

the service rep gave me a free 4 wheel alignment too. Can't beat it!

I weighed all 4 of mine when I replaced them and each weighed 20.2 lbs on a home bathroom scale which isn't 100% accurate but gives you some idea at least.

I replaced them with 16lb 17x8 OZ Ultraleggeras in dark grey wrapped in 245/40 Kumho Escta MX tires.
