BOOOO!!!!
I think I have to change my timing belt...er...chain! I noticed today when I was at idle and walked around the outside of my car that there are "baby birds chirping" in my front right area where the pulley's and what not are located. BOO!!! my car only has 25,000 miles on it too, I guess that's what happens when you togue often? Unless its something else.....
any suggestions? Anyway, how much do you think it will cost for a new chain? and is it a DIYer? or will I have to take it to shop? I don't want too...but if I have too.....
are you sure it is not just a squeky pulley???
as for being a DIY....it is very tight on that side of the motor. do you feel comfortable doing a Dual overhead cam setup???(by you asking i would say not).
you could seriously damage your motor if you put a cam on the chain one link in a wrong direction...
