would it be ok if i layed my computer (its a tower) down on its side? the only thing i think it may effect would be the hardrive and cd rom drives, then again, i''ve seen cd rom drives that are vertical so idk. What if i put the tower upside down? would that mess anything up?

You'll be fine as long as you do it powered down.

Well as long as it's ONLY THE HARD DRIVE!
j/p Actually, it shouldn't hurt anything as long as none of your cables fall into any fans.

Shouldn't be a problem. Look inside the CD tray, many have small tabs that slide out to hold CDs in when turned. Slide the bottom tabs out so the CD stays in place.

ok thanks, reason being is that my video card is upside down. It plugs into the motherboard on the right side, so i had to flip it over. It fits of course, but its upside down, so the heatsink is facing downward, which doesnt help, and the video card is overheating, hopefully this helps, any other suggestions appreciated, thanks
