Default stock shocks + TRD springs?

i heard with stock shocks and TRD springs you can blow your strut/shocks easily and the TRDs may settle lower then you'd want

if you blow your struts/shocks what happens, is the car still able to ride? - if i get TRDs and they start to settle, will they be so low that i wont be able to get over speedbumps?

i got TRD springs with stock shocks and my shocks are starting to give out after about 5 months. its still able to ride but everytime i drive over a tiny bump it makes a really annoying squeaky noise. its not too low at all. ur able to drive over speedbumps easily, just be slow. on steep driveways i scrape the bottom sometimes, but no biggie. once i raise some more money, im gonna get the TRD shocks. i reccommend getting them with your springs. it will save u the hassle later on.

I have that setup and I'm pretty happy, its been a couple of months. I been reading around the forum and the shocks should last at 6 to 8 months. I figured that i paid for the shocks it came with, i might as well wear' em out then change them...lol...

Yea...springs will not settle as much as you are thinking they will. They would prob only settel about 1/8" - 1/16" max, and thats a very broad range.
