Ok, so I got all the brackets in and the strut tower bracket is sooo close to the AC line that when I go to connect the shock, it wont fit cause of the AC line and to boot, it wont line up with the motor mount bracket either. I dont know what the hell to do here...any suggestions?? Another thing is that when I installed the long bolt for the motor mount bracket, the gold washer didnt even sit properly. It seems like my bracket could have been slightly off and as I was tightening it down, it was bending the washer

yea I tried doing that...I also have followed the DIY thread. It almost seems like the strut tower bracket doesnt extend as far as it should. It basically sits on top of the A/C line cap instead of sitting away from it like in every picture I have seen. This is frustrating
The gold washer goes on the other bolt not the long bolt... as per ingalls instructions... The Kaeon DIY on here is wrong.

Just did mine today, it was simple if you have all the right tools handy..
As for the shock not fitting, just extend it some, loosen it up till its the right length and it will slip on, then make it tight.

ok...that will explain why the washer wouldnt fit
Even if I extend the shock, I still dont like how close it is to the AC line...it literally touches the bracket...I know that i didnt install that part wrong...it can only go one way. I am gonna take a picture on my sidekick and post it up cause I dont have a camera here at work...

loosen the 2 motor mount bolts and push the bracket towards the motor as close as you can, then loosen the ac cable bracket and push it as far over to the left as possible. Dynamat the AC line for extra assurance. you will be fine.

Alright, I realized that being that I have the supercharger, they moved my AC line significantly so it would be out of the way...I gotta adjust the line and hopefully I will be all good.
il be curious to hear fromn you guys that are just installing this.... i know other have posted on how the car feels after the install.. but im trying to build a more accurate picture on how it really feels... i talking.. vibration... noise... performace difference.. any negatives or positives... not just ingals.. but MMW's aswell... thanks...
I have mine installed.. I am trying to figure out how to keep it quite though I put dynamat between the bracket and strut tower and a piece between the bracket and my strut tower brace, but I can still hear every valve clicking in the motor, sounds like a have a hole in my fire wall....any ideas? I thought about using more dynamat. I find it to be a little loud..I'll let you know what happens, any pointers would help as well.....
Yea I fixed it and mounted it under the bracket, tried to find a way to quiet it down some... didnt work. Although the directions ingalls give you dont tell you where to place it on the strut bracket, they only mention the motor mount bracket...
