Default Pothole, 2 Popped Tires, Update with pic of Pothole

Well, hit a pothole driving through JP tonight. Popped both right front and rear tires! not sure if there was any damage to the rims. And what ____es me off even more is that im thinkin about going low, and then this happens.

What Im looking for is if any dealers can help me out with a written estimate to replace at least the 2 tires, but hopefully for the rims too. Heres a link I found to file a claim in the city of boston: http://www.cityofboston.gov/cityclerk/claims.asp. it says that if damage is over $500, might need 2 estimates, so thats why im looking for some dealers to help me out.

Im going early 2morrow morning to take pictures of the pothole so as to have some proof. If anyone has gone through this claim process, any help would be appreciated.

Sorry to hear that Carlos!! Dont know if our dealership would do tht directly, but Clair owns a collision center right up the street and they should be able to help you out. Their number is 617-469-3000! Hopefully they are helpful. If you want just prices on the parts call 617-469-1022.

Here's a pic of the pot hole I hit. Its on Perkins st in JP right before you get to Jamaica Way.

I think the key thing to point out in this picture is the F@#$ing pipe sticking out of the gorund.

Report it to the transportation authority - they have to do something about it. They may reimburse you as well.

All I can say is potholes S*ck!

I had to retire the RS1 Enkei's for this winter...

**Warning**

If anyone drives down Rutherford Ave. leaving Sullivan Sq. inn Charlestown/Somerville heading towards the Hood Plant, stay far left or far right over the train tracks! There are blindside potholes there up against the tracks. Hit one the wrong way = Dented wheel(s)!!!!

No wonder why it popped ur tire. Woah I didnt know that the city reimburses you for damaged wheels and tires due to potholes. I gues I learned something new

Take the tC on the FDR. I'm from nyc and take it frequently when i visit family. Anyway, I heard a *rumor* that if a construction crew is working on the issue and place a *bump* sign there, you can't file a claim. I don't know if this is true or not, but I ran into a 2" ditch in the middle of the road one night. Outta no where... No damage, but i did see that damn "bump" sign... so keep in mind, SLOW THE HELL DOWN when you see those signs. No joke.

hope the claim works out for ya.
