Default Going to test drive my first Xb tomorrow

I am going tomorrow morning to test drive my first Xb. I have wanted one since they came out and my other car is paid off this month, so time for a new one. The wife suprised me when she said she wanted to go look at the Xb's.

Be careful...Scions are powerful addictions. If you get one, you won't be able to leave it the way it is. Good luck on the xB. I am partial towards the tC, but the boxy sibling is still part of the family.

This is going to be a minority opinion, but why not keep the car you just paid off? Chill out, live car-payment free for a few months. Maybe even save that money for future mods on a scion.

i too made your mistake. i've had my car for quite some time, i thought the xBs were cool, saw one in town at a car lot, and decided, "what the heck?" i became hooked and am ordering one within the next few months.

good luck hitman - make sure you try out a manual tranny if you can - there's a big difference.

...and x2 on the 'addiction' THansenite

yeah, i wouldn't have it in an auto, but i test drove one because a. i wasn't very good with a stick at the time, and b. it was the only one within 30 minutes at any car lot, and as much as i liked the auto, i figured the stick would be an even better treat.

I drive stick very well, and would love to get one. But the wife is going to get the new xb and I am getting the car that was just paid off(Dodge Neon). I tried to teach her to drive stick on my S10 but she could not even get out of the parking spot we were in.

We test drove a nice silver xb and now it's sitting in my driveway. It was the last xb on the lot and it just happened to be the color we wanted. I will have to bring it back in to have the led kit installed.

Hey Hitman ... Congrats on the purchasing your box. Consider doing whichever LEDs you want on your own. Most anything you can think of is really easy to install on Scions and the markup on accessories from the dealer is RIDICULOUS!

I'm from Islip, if you need a hand with anything, let me know with a PM.

Don't expect to be surprised by the power, but do be surprised by the head room.

Congratulations, I knew if you drove one you would get one. The exact thing happened to me, "I'll just DRIVE one" doesn't apply to a Scion. Good choice on the color TCM for me too.
