My new Audio system!
I just purchased my new subs and amp for my xb. I've never had a nice system in any of my cars before so I'm pumped.
Subs: 2 12' Polk Audio DB212 http://www.polkaudio.com/caraudio/specs/db212
Amp: Infinity REF1211A - http://www.infinitysystems.com/caraudio/product.aspx?ProdId='REF1211A'&Ser=REF&Cat=AMP
It's gonna be sweet. Getting it installed this weekend.

I want to build a custom enclosure. Like a 'V' shape with the subs sticking out of the sides. Going to wait a little bit to save some money.
I want to remove the blue neon light on the amp and replace it with a green one to match the green lights in my car. I don't know if I can do it or not. Can't wait! I left all of the stock speakers and the stock deck cuz they work just fine for now.

You may want to save up a bit more as once you have the subs hooked into the system, you will start to look at replacing the stock deck and/or speakers. Playing with a good sub setup is like buying the xB... you'll get the mod bug soon.
Edit:
Oh yeah... You may not be able to replace the blue with green without opening up the amp. What I would recommend doing is just pick up a couple green cathodes and power them with the turn on lead going to the amp via relay circuit. Stick the cathodes under the amp and let the light glow out from underneath. Make sure the amp is mounted at a slight angle with the appearance of floating above the subs... that will make the look even more dramatic.

For your sub enclosure I would say go talk to Tom @ Listen Up! in Phoenix. I've sent many people there and all of them are happy. He'll build it for your equipment so you get the most out of it.
Oh yeah.... When I upgraded to my Eclipse head unit last month it was like getting a completely new system. The change was that dramatic.

Yeah, they can build a floating rack out of 16AWG metal plates (road signs *cough*). Paint and mount the steel to some metal tubing via welding or similar. Use a solid mount so the amp doesn't "swing" around in the back. I can guarantee it will cost more, but it will look very slick when it's done.
