What is the widest 18" wheel anyone has seen on a Xb? I am thinking of getting a Xb, it seems to handle well, I'm just not real fond of the pizza cutters on it..lol. Taking into acount I will at least be putting on the TRD lowering springs, if not Coilovers. I'd like at least a 18x8-8.5. I just don't know if it can be done. Aslo what size spacer may I be looking at?
you should go with 215/40 That way you shouldn't have a problem with rubbing.

id be careful of running the 8.5 up front, i mean its possible but you will rub without proper spacing and trimming of the inner fenders, the back you can run it no problem though

What is the point of an 8.5" rim width? You mentioned "Pizza Cutters", weren't you refering to the tire's width? If so, you can put a better selection of tires on a 7.5" rim that will give you proper clearance if you choose the correct offset. The marriage of a rim and tire are more important that one without the other. I would choose a 7.5 rim width so that it would allow me more choices of tires without having to worry so much about clearance issues for side to side. For example, I have a 7.5" rim on my XB and in doing so it has allowed me the luxury of sporting a 20" diameter with no problems. Have fun with the 8.5" width!!

some people would rather have more width than more diameter. ask a girl what she would like some thats long but skinny or one thats not so long but wider then the average bear
Scionsips - anyway im going to be getting a new set of rims im going for 16x9 or 17x8.5 if i get them before you ill letcha what probs i run into

Sweet man, I hope to have my box by a month from now..Any advise is more than welcome.. Any way, you can usually handle a lil better in turns with the width..I like carving, it's even funnier in a box.lol
