Its about time another NA 6 cylinder engine powered car that costs no more than $35k can smoothly travel at 170mph. Kudos to VW engineering and the combination of a nice NA engine with AWD.

With the other being mine, even though it is still being debated. I will try to find the video or speedo pic that sparked it.

dont you think that with it being in France or where ever that was it would be KMH not MPH? That means it was going a lot slower.

If you looked and heard closely the steering wheel was on the right side and the folks inside have a British accent. This means that the car and people inside were from the UK where they use MPH and not KMs as the dominating standard.

Also, if you looked at the speedo it showed KMs in smaller lettering, like our speedos do in the US with the max being 290.

That car is in Gran Turismo 4, and it's actually cheaper than an R32. I thought that was hilarious because I just bought an R32 and was tuning it at HPA. Then I think I noticed the R32 in background picture, so I went to their Special Cars section. I forget the numbers exactly, but I think the HPA model was like $10K less than a stock R32 with like 500hp I think.
