I went to Pick A Part and removed five different dome lights from five different vehicles. I stood there for a while and looked them over. After carefully considering each one I came to the decision that this one was the most stock looking. (the lights are not yellow in person like they appear to be in the flash photos)



I used a wire coat hanger and some patience to pull the wires through the headliner without having to remove it all the way. The new dome is wired to the stock one and they work together. I get great light coverage now and the rear dome can be turned on by itself as well.



I purchased one more dome with two map lights for the front but I have not made up my mind on getting a sunroof installed yet. If I get a sunroof there won't be enough space for the dome in the front.

I found the set of four at a small speed shop in Orange. The guy had them marked down to two dollars so I couldn't pass them up. (you want some, I know you do)

 

Me likey the rear one. What did it come off of? Just in case others may want to know.
I want to add another one to the rear but I may just get a third one to match the other 2.

 

That's the part that I kick myself over. I've seen other posts on here about rear dome lights and thought, "how could they not remember what it came off of?" Well, with all the cars I went through that day I honestly don't remember the model but I do know it was a Nissan or it could have been a Mitsubishi. I'm leaning a little more towards the Mitsubishi. Hell, I can't believe I can't remember. Imma
