Let me appoligize before posting. I have used the search function but did not find any straight 100% answers to this question.

Has anyone had any luck installing the 06 Sirius OEM kit in an 05 tC?

I bought a Sirius home/car kit at Costco but after looking over all of the documentation and installing it I think it's going to be a pain in the butt.

My wife doesn't like the idea of having to tune both the stock HU and the Sirius receiver, etc. Her and I would like to just be able to do it from the HU itself.

I know they have the XM kit for the 05 but we really want Sirius.

If you buy the tuner and the kit, it will fit.

I have a plug n play Sirius unit, and I just hooked it up using the aux input. I never have the radio door open.. :D
