BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2 on stock tC 17"s
I'm in great need of new tires and these are looking the best to me (on tirerack).. $125 each..
Does anyone have any experience with these tires? I never see anyone buying them, the only place I see them is on stock srt-4's.. The tread wear rating is great and the dry performance is the best you can get on tirerack (other then slicks)
I heard that they're kind of noisy, but that's really not a problem for me.
Any experiences, or comments would be appreciated.

The Hankook Ventus RS-2 is basically a direct copy of the Yokohama Advan Neova which outperformed the KD-W in the recent car and driver/tirerack test.

Does anybody know if they just changed up the tires, or is there a difference between the BridgeStones and Yokohamas. My bro's tC is a 05 he has BridgeStonges...My tC is an 06 and i have Yokos. Whats the Diff if any? The tread design looks identical on both tires except for the very center section.

the KDW2's have the best dry traction rating on tire rack, is that misleading?
Those are user ratings so they are based on what users say as opposed to qualitative tests done in a controlled side by side comparison. Im not saying they are bad tires, but for the money you can get better. Its important for you to pick a tire that suits your needs and the BFG KDW 2 may do that for you just fine. I personally went with the Falken Azenis RT-615 which is about as close as you can get for a true comp tire that is good for everyday use. I do plan on tracking the car so it was an easy decision for me to choose them. I got them for $120 a tire with free shipping here:

i had the kdw2's on my mazdaspeed protege and i highly recommend them. i tossed the car around quite a bit and they held the road pretty nicely. they were slightly noisy at highway speeds but nothing i couldn't get over. after the first week it didn't bother me at all. great grip in the rain and excellent grip on dry pavement. great tire!
hey everyone--
just wanted to post this...my 06 tC has Potenzas, and when i got my car they gave me a deal with having them replaced when needed due to like regular use, i know free tires is a good deal...but i was just kind of curious if anyone else had this offer, and if anyone knew how much a set of Potenzas are that the tC uses...
oh, and is there a big difference between the Potenzas and the Yokohamas?

i upgraded to 225/45/17 gforce t/a kdw-2, love them....i work for National Tire and Battery and have to say these are the best all around tire, wet/dry/looks. a little louder than some but not much, wear is great as well...plus the tread design is sick
The only difference I could tell between the stock Bridgestones and Yokohamas (which I had) is that the rubber was softer on the Yokohamas.
Although the tread design is almost identical, I didn't have any handling problems with the Yokohamas that people complain about with the Bridgestones.
