Just saying hello to everyone in the Houston area... Moved here about a month ago.

Since then I-45 left me a present, tire or something, broke my front bumper. Isn't that noticable from far away, but it annoys the hell out of me. Going to get that fixed eventually.

Oh, and the CD-changer keeps giving me the "Error 4" message. Figure it's time for a new weekend project so I ordered an Eclipse-CD2000 from crutchfield. I got a new kicker amp as well Kx400.1 can't wait to hook it all up

I need to get my tC inspected, but I have tint on my windshield and front sides (35%) and 5% on the back windows/hatch. Is that going to be an issue?

I know there's two tC's near me... Blue one at the tire place on 2920 near Kuykendahl (SP?)Wal-Mart and a black one a few hundred feet down the road at Sonic.

 

thats cool man welcome to htown yeah the freeways suck but oh well wat u gonna do drive the feeder? lol yeah there a few tC's out in that area i know a few ladys who drive some nice rides. an a few meets that go on on the nw side. coo choice in radios an the error message looks like u got a faulty radio but since your gettin a new one dont have to mess wit the dealership... u can always hit up houston-imports.com for some import shows an meets happening around town. weekely scion events/meets are always held come out some time an hang wit us... where all freindly an have a good time...

 

hey im on the north side by spring you can aim me or yim me i have a crew that runs together called underground evolution if you ever need anyhting done we cando alotta engine work we may be meeting up friday for the houston import meet. Just PM/AIM/YIM me and we'll get together.

I should prolly d/l AIM on my work pc. I just fix computers all day and have nothin' else to do.

Anyone have any idea what I can do with my new hole where the tire punched out my little inlet cover...? (Does that even make sense?)

The tire knocked out one of the two inlet covers in front of the wheel well. I've always wanted to put fogs in there but never got around to it... I've seen some guys do it, any idea what would fit? Or is this one of those figure it out yourself deals?

umm id have to look at your car i havent looked a stock bumper in a while.......ill take a look at one and let you konw if not ill take a look at yours and let you know one day.

hey wassup dude...i live off of spring cypress and champions forest drive. but about to move to stuebner airline and louetta side. still the same area though. but ya, let pete know. we all hang at the same spots.

 

Welcome to H-town. Hope to see you at some of the meets around town. There are plenty of them coming up this time of year.

I still recommend taking your car to the dealer while the radio is in it to get a new one ordered. That way you have working factory unit to go back in the vehicle if you ever sell/trade the tC in. Might as well since it is under warranty and won't cost you anything but a little time.

 

I was told that since I put an amp and sub in that I voided the warranty on it. I don't know if that is really the case but I hate dealing with the dealerships so I'm not intereseted in pursuing a replacement.

And if I want to trade it in.... Well the H/u works for a week or so if you take the positive end off the battery terminal, so maybe it'll get by ;)

 

...and re-attach of course!
