You feel a little more pressure on the vehicle than you would on a more aerodynamic car, or somthing that wasn't shaped like a box, but it really isn't that bad.

Hey Zep how come you never pm'ed me or called me with the information on those lowering springs?

no, they are fine in cross winds. I had a safari, that was much worse.. I've had small cars, like a nova (corrolla) and contour and it's honestly just about the same.

Well, when I was driving through Ontario on the 60, heading towards the 15 North, the winds were kicking up pretty bad, I would say 20-30mph, you feel a little pressure on the wheel, but all you need to do is ensure that you have a good grip on the wheel and stay straight and in your lane. It really is not bad at all...its not like your car is going to be swept over the entire freeway or anything, you just need to be cautious... :D

I have no crosswind complaints, but my "other car" is a VW bus, where you measure crosswinds by the angle you have to turn the steering wheel to keep going straight ahead!

I live on the central coast and this time of year we get some pretty crazy winds blowing through here, sometimes gust up to 50mph. The box I must say handles pretty good in these conditions felt just like my 2000 honda accord just have to grip the wheel a bit stronger. The only crazy thing I had happen was going right into a gust on the 101 freeway just north of Gaviota, I was going 80 through the tunnel and the wind hit the box dead on and slowed my ___ down to 50 like I hit a wall, a down shift and I was good to go. Hope that helps.

I dont live in cali, but i remember a couple of really windy days around here on I-295(gusts 40 to 50) and the car felt very planted, like in ANY car, keep both hands on the wheel and your pretty must good to go, a little more pressure than say, my parents accord, but not extreme by any stretch.

I've switched lanes many times in the safari without intent. Just "la dee da dee da WHOA!" *rumble strip rumble strip*
