, and I had a hard time drying and washing the top part even though I'm 6 feet tall.
I needed something to step onto and then do the washing and drying.
anyone have the same issue?

I can't believe you are having that problem. I'm 5'10" and I have to stretch a little to get the middle of the roof but it's not that big of a problem.

If it's that much of a problem for you, I might suggest opening a door and standing on the edge to get higher. I used to do that to wash my truck.

You got two choices....
1) get 2" high heels shoes...or
2) get 2" lowering springs... :D

I should lower the car later on

"I might suggest opening a door and standing on the edge to get higher. I used to do that to wash my truck." <- that's also a good idea, I never think about that before cause this is the first time I have a minivan / suv

Hey Chobits,
I'm 5' 6". here's a few things I do:

1. I open the doors and step on the door sills to reach the top. It took me 3 washes to realize this, so I'm no genius. lol

2. I use a combination of the Cali Water blade and a leather chamois. Since mine is black I get swirls otherwise. The Chamois is cool, just takes getting used to. Water blade is great to start on the top and on the windows. Then follow up with the Chamois.

3. This is a big one, and just a general one: When drying the sides of the car it is important to open and almost slam the doors shut. There seem to be so many places for water to hide or accumulate and this gets the water to jump out a bit.
Otherwise, it doesn't escape til you open doors or drive, leaving long water streaks. I'd concentrate on the areas around the side mirrors and the nooks where the rear window is located.

Hope this helps...

HEY CHECK IT OUT! MY 50th post!! ahem, WOO HOO!

I myself am pleased with the Mr clean Auto Dry I found its good for those quick weekday washes when time is an issue. I still like to detail the ride on the weekends but when pressed for time it works real well.
