I'm planning to get H&R Spacers but I don't know which size I would get. I was looking into getting the 15mm spacers.. and this is why..

*Please know that I have 17x7 AFTERMARKET wheels, with a +40 offset..*

I searched and read bonjie's thread about his installation on these H&R spacers. He has Tein S-Tech springs, like me.. but he's on stock wheels. Stock wheels have a +45 offset and he used 20mm spacers on front and rear. He had rubbing issues with the fronts.

So can anyone confirm if the 15mm spacers would work well with my aftermarket wheels AND not rub? I'm basically aiming to get rid of that that nasty gap in the rear since the s-techs rake the car forward and I want an equal appearance (I'm picky like that.) And also, I want my wheels to sit flush..

Thanks in advance.

Uh. 45mm offset -20 for the spacers = 25 offset..

40 offset wheels -15 for the spacers = 25 offset too... you'll run into the same problem. Simple math.

Yeah I know that.. I just wanted to know if others had this same setup. I might just settle with the rears anyway.

Is it true that the wheels are more tucked in the rear than the front?

and also, would it be safe to just put spacers in the rear and none in the front?

can't you get 10mm spacers?

nope. h&r only makes 5/15/20/25 spacers for the tC. and the 5mm ones are not hubcentric.

H&R are the only ones that make hubcentric spacers. I wouldn't use anything else.

You shouldn't.
