I know how you feel. I ordered mine on Feb 15 and it's supposed to come in next week.
It helps to keep busy and keep track of what you see. Set up an xB folder, with subfolders for brochures and mods. In the brochure folder, download the Spec and Minibrochure and Warranty pdfs from scion.com. In the Mods folder, set up folders for every mod and accessory you can think of. Then as you read the forum and go to vendors' sites, drag urls for the threads and products and photos of into the folders.
For instance, if you are interested in a strut bar, that folder will have the link to the vendor, photos of the item, and link to the SL installation thread with its step by step instructions.
When your car comes, you will have researched everything you want to do, and have all the info at your fingertips.
To keep your interest up, every now and then go to scion.com. build your xB with accessories, and look at it in hyperview, opening the doors and hood.

Someone asked about hyperview. It probably takes broadband to use hyperview. Just go to scion.com, then click in the picture of the xB, then select Build Your Own from the menu, then start building what you want. First select xB and the transmission. It will take the Java a minute to load.

After that, selecting a color makes the car change to that color, and each time you add an accessory, the car rotates and zooms in to show it appear on the car, then zooms out.

At the bottom of the big car window, there is a box called Hyperview. Clicking on that makes the car recede, then approach turning a circle to come close to you. It will have every accessory you have checked up to that point. You can grab the image and rotate it, even look at the bottom of the car. Clicking on the hood, or doors or tailgate opens them, and you can see the LED lights in your color, etc.

I drove to Cleveland when my local Pittsburgh dealer gave me the runaround. I got my car in one day. How?
1. Searched Scion's web site for dealers within a tolerable radius.
2. Searched those dealers' web sites for in-stock cars.
3. Found the basic car I wanted (color, transmission).
4. Called the dealer, verified the car was there, and had them modify it with the options I wanted that day literally as I drove up the Turnpike to pick it up.
5. Arrived at the dealer (2-hour drive), inspected the car, and bought it.
6. Drove it home.

The only option they didn't have in stock was the tie bar, so they mailed it to me and I installed it myself.

No waiting!

I live in duluth, minnesota. I've already spoken to the Burnsville, MN dealer, ordered my rs3 and they said they'd have it there in 3-5 weeks, so I guess the process is started already

Just because you ordered it from one dealer doesn't mean you can't still shop around for one in the meantime. Hey, you might get lucky and find one ready to take home. But if it's one they already have coming in it may not take the whole 3-5 weeks Good luck Bro!
