Default Newbie here :)

Hi! I'm a brand new xB owner! Just bought one today! Loving it already, although it's WAY different than my old car (a Grand Prix GTP)

Here she is:
2006 Blue Onyx Pearl xB

Congrats Lisa! You will love your new car more and more every day! The fun thing is that there are so many possibilities!

Default .....Great Color....

This is the time when xBHAWK swoops down and requires you to complete your car with a CABIN AIR FILTER to put in your empty CABIN AIR FILTER tray behind your glove box.
Scoin sells it's cars with NO FILTER in that tray. Do not buy one from the dealer for $22, go to advanced or autozone and buy one for about $12. Or make one yourself after reading the TECH thread called 'Fabricate your own CABIN AIR FILTER'. This will stop all that dust from collecting on your dash board. See the photos and read how to pop out your glove box to access that tray.
Post photos.
Mod slowly if at all possible.
Upgrading your stero? I may want your stock radio head unit.

Congrats and welcome, Lisa. It should be a blast to own. Don't heed the naysayers

I think black is the most beautiful color on an xB, and it especially works with the grilles to unify the front end and minimize the bluntness. But I didn't want to keep a black car clean, and it would be hot in the summer, so I got TCM.

Welcome !! If you ever want to mod your box- check the TECH section...You will never run out of ideas of things you can do with this car.
By the way, if you're doing 80- and you notice your car is running at 4000rpms--that's normal.
