Default Do I need a pure sine wave inverter???

I just installed a playstation 2 and 2 headrest monitors in my xb. I also have a pair of wireless headphones. I am using a modified sinewave inverter to power my playstation. The problem is that I am getting annoying hum through the wireless headphones and I am also getting a few lines rolling horizontally through the monitors. Will a full sine wave inverter fix this problem or is there a less expensive fix :?

Yes. A pure sine wave inverter will make all that go away :D Had to do it myself.

what type of products are you using?

the lines in the screen can be a result of many things...

video rca is too long... try shorter ones
insufficent power/ground... run slightly thicker power/grounds
rca's are "coiled" thus inducing interference
poor quality/design of products
Video source not strong enough to power multiple screens... use video amp, trouble
shoot by turning off one screen...

the hum can be caused because of a pinched rca/
