Hello,
I tried searching through the forums, but I am only coming up with carbon fiber, wood, or aluminum trim overlays. What I want are replacements, not overlays, and not in any of those finishes. Specifically I am looking to replace the gauge frame, AC and defrost vents, glove box handle, door handle/tweeter frame, switch frame on left hand side of the dash by the steering wheel, and the powerwindow/lock frame with parts that match the trim of the sides of the center console. Any help in this matter is appreciated.

As far as I know, no direct replacement exist. Only overlays.

replacements are non-existent... probably why you can't find anything when you search.

Ahh I see. Thanks for the response. Well then I guess I have no choice but to use overlays. Anyone know where I can find overlays that match the sides of the center console for the areas stated in my first post?

Very nice job from what I see in your gallery pic honey0bucket. Where did you get the paint and how did you apply it onto the trim? How's the durability on that paint?

It actually likes like the actual exterior paint. How is that holding up on the inside? What type of prep?

it is infact exterior or auto paint. same thing you woudl put on the outside of your car.
prep was a piece of cake. all i did was tear out the pieces i wanted to paint, then i scuffed them with a red scotch brite.
if you plan on using auto paint for them....make sure you clean them VERY VERY good. if not you will get some crators and such in the paint. plastic cleaner works the best.
as for durability...its just as durable as the exterior of your car. i've had it in there for about six months, i still dont have any scratches or dings in it.

Also, if you don't feel comfortable painting your own pieces, a body shop will probably spray the lot for about $50.00.
Not trying to question anyone's ability, I just know I would freak out and mess something up.

so true...if you pull all the pieces out...any bodyshop will spray them for dirt cheep
