Default Vandals Broke my side rear window, how much are they?

I'd post a picture with my digi cam but that got stolen....

it's the rear window that has the defoggers on it; was wondering if anyone had to get it replaced and knew the price.

That is not a defroster. It is one of your antena'a and is the only window on your box you dont want to replace! It's very expensive! Good luck!

This is just terrible. Some people just don't give a damn about other's property anymore. I feel your pain bro. Good luck in getting your window repaired.

I'm ____ed!

Vandalism just plain sucks. Just as a hint, many insurance companies treat window glass (at least windshields) as a non-deductible item, meaning they pay 100% of cost to replace. Also, if this happened at your or someone else's house, the homeowners insurance may (may) provide coverage for replacement. It doesn't cost anything to make a call and find out.

Sometimes it's just hard to know who/what to be mad AT.

I lived in a townhouse complex once that was situated in metro DC. Semi - Urban (just a little more than say, SUBurban). We had a string of broken windows in auto's. All parked in the same two or three parking spaces. Right under a street light. (I'd say it's SMART to park under a street light, except NOW I know it's NOT).

Self righteous neighbors were very busy blaming the vandalism on each other's kids. Mostly on the known "bad boys". Myself, I just wanted to see what a kid looked like that wasn't scared to be a repeat 'breaker of car windows" right under a very BRIGHT street light.

Turned out it was just a deer. He came looking to fight that same "other deer" (his reflection) every night.

Right after that, two of them ended up in the Giant Food Store about four blocks away. One of them must have been "our deer" because we had no more broken windows (but it was a long time before I'd take my garbage out after dark.)
