Default Sunroof Care

I am joining the ranks of tC owners very soon. My car should be here by Friday!!

Seeing that no one in my family has ever had a sunroof in their car, and my parents are worried about leaking/water/rust damage as a result of the sunroof...

What are some basic care that I should do to prevent such damages from day one?

That's likely because of aftermarket sunroof experience many years ago. They need to understand this is a totally different situation, there are no issues nor concerns with the "sunroof", as designed & implemented on the tC.

Thanks... yeah, I was pretty sure that given 10+ years of R&D that they should come pretty close to perfecting the use of sunroofs.

Thanks again! 4 more days 4 more days... oh and cheer for UCLA this evening!

i would just check the tracks every couple of months, dust and dirt can build up there because it gets trapped in the grease.
maybe grease it once a year if needed
