i dont know, im looking at it too, probably getting one in the next few months, my ownly problem with it is how is it going to give that big of a performance gain, if you have a stock head, most people running larger throttle bodies have p&p heads so i dunno, im interested to see also.

if i remember it cost $400+ at their site?? i think its kinna expensive, cuz i can get my throttle body ported for just $100 at a local shop here. and no not that much gain for that amount.

so i guess porting the head is out of the question eh? because i noticed there isnt too much NA's can do for more power other than I/H/E and pulley setup. sigh, if only i was manual and had a turbo :p

ok old topic but heres are some words of wisdom about the AW TB

AW made this TB aiming at TURBO minded or FI people.

this TB will give you 1hp MOST for NA app.

the AW TB is not the way to go. i highly suggest anyone NOT to buy the AW TB. its a waste of $$ because it will get you practically nothing.

if you want a TB. i believe GOLDEN EAGLE or some other company makes an OVERSIZED TB or custom size TB for our car. its around the forum somewhere. i tink that thread needs a good BUMP

Discussed this today on another forum. Just go to a local machine/engine shop and get your TB bored/ported whatever your term of choice. It's like $50 and you get the same lack of gains as you would buying the AW one :p

People need to be aware of potential issues with TBs ported by local shops that charge very little. It's important to ensure the throttle plate seats/seals completely, as cheap porting often has an issue in this area, causing erratic idle and other problems. Anyone considering having their TB ported, I suggest taking it to a place that knows how to do it right, such as RC Engineering (most known for their injectors).

i would not waste time on ether unless you are turbo and have a p/p head and match port your intake manifold you would be wasting money on ether we can get the heads ported and i think my head porter will also match port your intake manifold and that would make more power but just doing your throttle body would not do anything i will check with my head porter today on the matching of the intake
