Default TRD Supercharger Ordered

Install will be on the 20th & 21st .... They wanted to have it overnight because they did not know what kind of workload they were going to have the day before.

The dealership gave me a great price on the SC ($2,800), but no break on the install... $795 - which is the most expensive install price I have seen... but their labor rates are very high around here anyway.

Oh Well, can't have everything.

I can hear it now....

if u havent signed any labor contract or anything, I'd get the s/c into your possession and then run to another dealership. dont ruin a great deal on the s/c by paying an arm and a leg for the install!

but hey, I still have to say, damn you to hell! I want the supercharger

make sure they put the cap on. double check the coolant level. and grab anything they take off your car.

stock injectors, plugs, stock bottom part of airbox, serpentine belt, stock heat shield and the oil pan

Thanks, Neo.... I think. But hey, for all the mods you have on your ride, that looks like more than half the SC right there.....

I had mine installed last month. Every dealer I called in Western Washington (greater Seattle area) charged the same for install: $745.

Enjoy it, it's fun! And it has barely impacted my gas mileage - and I've been driving it hard! I used to average 25mpg and now I get 23-24 mpg.

i find it easier to spend 2400 at small intervals than 3000+ all at one time.

and that was a compliment. I'm envious!

Thanks jrussell... I have been averaging 26-30 mpg depending upon whether or not I really get on it. So I can live with 24-28.

Not a bad deal in the end. Your paying for the warranty. I got $3700 total inculding tax but shopped around for a month.

the parts i listed are the part taken off your car, you can just leave it if you dont care. but then again you did pay for it when you bought your car.

save it, store it, sell it later.

^Agreed, they put all my extra parts in a box in my car when I got it back. It won't take up any extra room in the storage shed and you never know when you might need it, plus like tikbhoy said, you paid for it!
