View Full Version : 205/50 or 205/55 is there a big difference? need opinions TJ 05-29-2004, 02:22 AM I've been deciding for the past week on whether to mount the 205 55 series or 205 50 series on a 15 inch wheel, Kumho ASX's fit the bill and are affordable. is there going to be a big difference in handling ? or maybe in comfort. The 55 series is .2 taller in diameter while the 50 series is .6 shorter in diameter. Opinions greatly appreciated. It makes a difference if you're still at the stock ride height. I had 18x7.5s with 215/35s, and now I'm rolling on stock 15x6 steel wheels with 205/55s. MUCH nicer rider, and once the weather gets better here, I'll throw the 18s back on (or not)! RogerTTR 02-03-2005, 10:08 PM The 205/55R15's are the correct fitment for your vehicle!
