I was thinkin seen as how a bunch of people here are painting, overlaying, or modifying their "waterfall" dash center consol and other various parts of their dash i thought it would be a good time to start this thread?

yes! Ive been searching around for people with overlays. Intersted in the aluminum overlay myselfl.

I work in a body show so i have all the access to the "professional" stuff. I sanded every piece i panted smooth and then just used the same paint you would use on a bumper or fender or a door. It came out really clean and super shiney.

Yes the vents are still functional, they open and close perfectly. I got lazy and didnt feel like making the mech so i can direct the air left and right, haha

haha minivents...harmonic thats the best looking modded dash ive seen on the tc, very stock looking.

 

That...is...exactly...what I needed to convince me to paint my dash when I get my tC. The fact that it matches your paint and is done with professional paint and equipment makes it so much better than anything I rattle-canned.

Hehe, it will give me the excuse to get an HVLP gun finally.

 

Is that the Duplicolor metalcast paint??
