I am almost complete in painting my console but am missing glossly effect like this beautiful work from my paint after about 3 layers of clear. Am not sure if i should sand the clear to get that glossly effect. Any tips on getting a glossy like this picture? How many layers of paint are you putting on the paint?

 

good question there. it's hard to get that glossy effect. i'm also interested to hear.

What is that device that WeDriveScions has underneath the radio in front of the stick?

 

the only way for it to look like WDS or my dash is with a paint gun and auto paint. you will never get the gloss like this from rattle can paint and clear.


as for the device its a apexi SAFC 2....its suposed to be an air fuel tuner but it doesnt work well with the tC exhaust. it doesnt really do much anymore now that hes turbo'd . it just basicly looks cool lol.

oh and before anyone asks. thats not overlayed. its a 100% carbon fiber replacent! REAL!

i just got another center console and wanted to do this, but im wondering which color would b best, i have a bsp and i have a **** load of blue leds inside, n e suggestions? and where to get the supplies to have mine look as clean as ur guys? and also doesnt it scratch easily since u guys repainted it?

nah captain look at the door and the back area where the speakers are, theres a line of silver trim, thats what he made

audicted, if i were to guess a price, i would think it would be in the low $300 range, because clips will have to be made and all that stuff, unless if ur gonna put it on the plastic where u could just use double sided 3m tape.
