hey everyone..i'm actually in vancouver (canada) and some of us echo hatchback (vitz, yaris, ncp015) wanted to go for a drive down south and the idea of having a joint meet with some scion owners came into question. Seeing as both our cars are cross platform it would be interesting to see the simularities in person.
we were thinking sometime in june on a weekend. we'd be able to get a few of us together and drive down towars seattle.
thoughts?

That's a good idea...but my june is booked. We have an event planned for June 13th in Portland. http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12278
Myself and BCS will be in Canada for the June 26 Driven to Perform (previously showoff).
I think it'd be an awesome idea to get a bunch of regional cars together that are all built on a similar platform. When I was up in BC a few weeks ago for National Sport Compact I was talking with a few people about having a BC chapter of the Team Scion Life club.
Also since the cars are officially released here on June 2nd, I think it'd be good to hold off until more people can take delivery of their cars.
I'm thinking July 24th or 25th... how does that sound?

end-o-July looks open for me at this point! Where are we thinkin?
well as it stands we're going to be at the DTP show on june 26th as well. it would be great to get us to roll in together and try and find a lot so we can park as a group.
I don't know how succesful having a BC scion chapter would be seeing as the scion is not sold in canada and few people will be willing to import one over.
On July 17th there's going to be an annual Revscene (www.revscene.net) BBQ meet in vancouver. If it's going to be anything like the past meet when i attended with my DC5 there should be around 200 cars. It's an awesome meet if you guys can come up that weekend. I'm sure there would be plenty of people drooling over the scion.

Cool, I'll see if we can get an area for us to all be with eachother at the show. I'll be with my team, but it looks like a few other Scions may be making it up for this event. Do you know how many cars you will have with you?
I'm not thinking to limit Team Scion Life to just Scions persay... as long as you are an enthusiast who likes Scions you can join the club, I don't see any vary strong vitz, echo, corrola, etc clubs in the area. The door is open if the BC cars would like to start their own chapter or if they'd like to just join the WA club either way you are welcome to join the community.
July 17th will be Import Life Seattle. This show has been done in Portland for a number of years and has always been really good, with about 200-300 cars. I've already signed on to be there, so that is where I will be that day. It is at Sand Point, Seattle, WA.
