Ok... mentioned this in the SE meeting thread... seem to have gotten some intrest in it..so it now gets its own deal...
anyways..here's the Idea..
Paintball outing... either in or out doors... sometime in feb or march... theres 2 places i know of that do indoor... one in everett.. .one in kent area's... both run 3hr sessions for about 15-25$ each depending on rental packages needed... those with own equipment.. will be about 15$ not counting paint... and can set up for day ,eve or night event
outdoors is also possible but many different places for that... i prefer KC Crusaders in the sumner area... but most/all out door places dont exactly have nice smooth paved lots to park in.. more like deep ruts, mud and potholes... outdoor gonna be more weather dependent ... iffy/bad weather more people tend to bail.. plus it just not as fun worryin g about slipping and falling on your A$$ as well as dodging paint. bennifits of out doors.. more fields to play and can go all day long.. usually 10a-4/5pm (or till people are broke/tired)

anways.. will set up poll here and have it close superbowl sunday.. that way can start planing for mid feb or march...

It's funny that you started this thread. I was just reading the SE thread and was thinking about posting up something about setting up a paintball game.

My co-workers and I used to go paintballing every other weekend about a year or so ago. We haven't gone in a while because we had a big lay off session and we lost a lot of players. Anyways, we used to go to the Sultan Basin, just off of Hwy 2 past Monroe. There are multiple fields out there (free of course, it's public land) so you don't have to worry about paying the field fee and buying THEIR paint. This would probably work out alright for ppl that have their own equipment. If lots of ppl need to rent, the pay fields are probably the best option. Plus you don't have to worry about air.

Either way, I'll try to make it whenever it ends up being.

Sounds like fun! I would need to rent equipment though.

that would be cool. if we could get a big bunch of people, hopefully a place would do a discount thingy, for rental and all.

Also voted outdoors. I know there are several good and very enclosed locations in the Western Washington Area, I just have to go and ask when the season starts for them due to severe mudhole problems. =)

Yeah...as for the group discount thing... usually do for KC crusaders... if get 15people or more ...think they knock bout $5 off field fee and start kickin in cases of paint... but most places do give a break for large groups... either $ off fee, free paint.. free lunch or combos of all those...
anyways sounds like theres intrest... keep it comin.. most places require 10-15peeps minimum to reserve feild/refs etc

Outdoor or indorr, it is all fun to me. Outdoor just means that I will have to bring extra clothes because I am destined to get muddy. ;)

I should be there if at all possible but I will have to rent my equipment most likely. Unless I come up with a buttload of money in the very near future.

*prays* Come on lottery ticket..........

Sounds good to me. Besides, I would love to see you slip and fall. Always amusing as long as no one gets seriously hurt. ;)

nah.. think would have to add the sound of a vertabrate gettin re-crunched... its probably as healed as its gonna get since its been over a year now....but still not wanting to risk much.... probably the reason i have a boat in my driveway that i havent been in to much of a hurry to replace the cracked engine block... (nice crack too cylnders 1-3 not counting the 2 manifolds and freeze plug that also fell victim to last winters freeze).....yeah im holding a grudge against my boat

all righty.... while the poll doesnt officially close till superbowl sunday... its lookin like im/we're gonna have to pick a date for this soon.. as the end of feb is pretty full and march weekends are running out...
so looks like unless get unexpected surge...that outdoor is the prefered choice.... so with that said..
weekends for march that are availible... 5/6, 12/13, the 20th and 27th... to me it doesnt matter if its sat or sunday... later in the month better chance for dryer weather..... so if could get a consensus ASAP for what specific day or at least sat/sun preference that would be great.. then can get it put on the calender asap and start makin calls to feilds for pricing/reservations.

I'm up for it! I say outdoors... The Sultan Basin sounds good to me as well! I have my own gear.

Keep me posted and I'll be there either way!
