ZPI v2 Crank Pulley Question
How many people currently have the ZPI v2 crank pulley installed on their car?
If so, do you like it? Have you had any problems with it? Can you feel a big difference?
All of the other threads got locked before anyone got to answer.. Please don't ruin this one.

we only need to hear results not comments!!!! that is the reason why other threads got locked b'coz people argue about what will happen......and not what actually happened......we need first hand experience from their TC's not some other car....
"Yamahab16" was at the ShootOut, and brought his anodized vr. 2 ZPI pulley with him. He had his car dynoed before the pulley, and then after the pulley. He gained 11whp and 18tq after the pulley was installed.

Huh? If I understand the question, his only other mods were, CC s-pipe, ZPI mid-pipe, and TRD exhaust. So, the car is N/A. Dynoed with his exhaust setup, and then dynoed with the ZPI vr2 pulley installed, and gained those #'s.
I can't tell you about the ZPI pulley, but I can tell you I am very happy with the NST crank pulleys that I have had on different cars over the past few years.
Both the ZPI and NST crank pulley weigh about the same, the main difference is that the NST crank pulley is also an underdrive pulley (underdrive pulleys usually free up a bit more power than stock size pulleys) and are offered in different colors. The NST stuff is also quite a bit cheaper.
Your other options are Unorthodox Racing and Agency Power.
Either way, both companies (NST and ZPI) seem to be doing a good job with these pulleys and people around here seem to love this modification. The gains are obviously noticeable on both the butt and real dyno.

Not trying to be argumenative or anything, but there has been a weight comparison on the ZPI pulley, and the NST Crank pulley, with the ZPI pulley being the lighter of the two.
12hp & 18torque for $150 is by far the best power
ost ratio out of any mod for the tC.
I can't wait to get this pulley on.. I hope it's waiting at my house when I get home.

I have it and didn't notice a difference, so I'm wondering if mine was installed wrong. I have had performance cars before and can tell when I change something, but not in this case. I still recommend it as it is a great power upgrade.
Annodizing is an essential part of building a pulley properly, in fact pulleys shouldn't even be offered without being annodized. It makes the pulley stronger, helps the pulley grip the belt better, and helps both the pulley and the belt to last longer than they would otherwise. All the major pulley companies like AEM, Unorthodox, and NST annodize all their pulleys before selling them.
so whats so great about VERSION 2 of the ZPI pulley? it weighs less or stronger design?
I GOTTA BE OFF TOPIC ON THIS ONE, SORRY
and for people who say pulleys mess up your engine, has anyone witness a 2002+ car breakdown because of an aftermarket pulley? come on people, technology has changed rapidly for the past 6 years. and most of you guys say mechanics know it all and have been doin their thing for over 25 years, thats a huge gap people, alot has changed and it only takes 1-3 years (mayor companies; toyota, sony etc.) for something new and improve to happen,
check this, back then playstations had problems overheating within 24hours, within 1 year the new PSone can stay on for weeks, actually a few weeks. and now PS2 slim can stay on for months
dont ask local mechanics, ask a team of PhD (doctors) of mechanics who actually built the engine and created VVT-I.
