Default Big Brake Kit and What Wheel Size's Will Fit?

I know that with BBK's you have to have aftermarket wheels, but do they have to be bigger than 17" wheels. Is the fitment problem because of the actual spokes themselves and rubbing issues?

wow, did not know that. Does anybody know if WillWood will fit behind stock wheels?

Im most interested in Stoptech, i just dont like the look of Red calipers. They would be getting repainted, to a more mellow color, if i got them.

5mm spacer is the minimum to fit behind a stock wheel. I woudl recommend going 15mm in order to keep the wheels hubcentric and eliminate vibrations at highway speeds. As far as caliper color, red, black or silver paint are available at no extra charge with yellow, blue or gold paint costing extra.

so the 5mm spacers are not hubcentric and you will get vibrations?

Correct. I ran them with my stock wheels and they worked fine but the calipers were about as close to the wheel spokes as possible. I also had some vibrations at highway speeds that felt like a slightly out of balance wheel. Nothing dramatic, but it was noticeable nonetheless. If a 10mm hubcentric spacer was availble it would be perfect, but I know that the next size up from 5mm that H&R offers is 15mm.

If you search for tC apps, they only offer 5, 15, 20 and 25mm. They may make an 8mm for some apps, but just not in a 5x100 with a 54.1mm hub like the tC would need.

I know custom ones are available and I even looked into them, but H&R includes new studs of the correct length so I recommend them for being an all in one package with known results.

With the amount of clearance I have I think you might be OK with the +45 offset in an 8" wheel. Theres quite a few shops that would likely have that wheel in stock...they can check the wheels withour wheel fitment template if you ask nicely I'm sure.

Heres a link to the template that gets cut out and put inside the wheel:

Do you know if you would have to use a spacer with the Powerslot Front Plus Big Rotor Kit? Also, if i go this route, can you just upgrade the Calipers later"do they sell them by themselves"?
