Default Kenstyle xA

I test drove the xA yesterday and all things considered, for the price, I really like it and will probably be ordering one soon.

Googling around for potential mods, I came across the body kit from Kenstyle and thought it was the shizz-nizzle, but the Racing Hart CR's really look awesome on it !!

I'll consider lowering it 1" - 2" for aesthetics, but still want to be able to clear speed bumps.

Does anyone know or can make an educated guess of the wheel size/offset and tire size on the Kenstyle xA ?? If not I'll take recommendations.

BTW, here's the link to Kenstyle http://www.kenstyle.co.jp/internatio...umb/SCION.html and a link to the specs on the Racing Hart CR http://www.hartwheels.co.jp/cat_0302...hcr_3_spec.htm

Thanks in advance for your help.

Van-

Thanks for the link to the previous post on this topic. I read it and must say you have great deductive reasoning . . . I guess I could try to contact Kenstyle and just ask them ... I just sent an e-mail to them will let you know what response I get.

Well, its been 3 days and I haven't gotten any response back from my e-mail to Kenstyle regarding the wheel/rim sizes on the xA in the picture on their website.

Just figured you might have wanted to know.

Maybe if someone could send them an e-mail in Japanese they would respond ???

Default wheel size

The wheels may be the same size all around, but with a "Normal Disk" set up in the front and a "Super Low Disk" version in the rear. Alot of the Japanese fitments with 3-piece wheels will do a 17×7.5 ET30 with different disks to make have a deeper dish look in the rear. What email address did you send it to? I can try and send a Japanese email over if you like.

Kendo-

Thanks a bunch for the info and offer to send an e-mail to Kenstyle in Japanese. The e-mail address to contact Kenstyle is info@kenstyle.co.jp

As you might have guessed I'm interested to know the size and offset of the Racing hart CR rims and the tire sizes on the white Ist (they call it xA) on their website.

Also helpful would be to know the lowering kit info as well as any specific mods required to build the car in the pictures.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Interestingly enough, the Racing Hart Type CRs are only available in Super Low disks in 4x100 bolt pattern. I guess that's a logical move though, since most 4x100 cars have small brake calipers and drum brakes in the rear...just like the Scions. While I still can't say 100% for sure what the Ken Style xA is running, I would personally recommend the 18x7.5", +28mm in front and 18x8.5", +28mm in back. Good tire sizes would be 215/40-18 and 225/35-18 front and rear, respectively.
