Default I want to Chop my Seats..

Has anybody seen any xB's with Chopped Seats? I took the headrests out of the rear seat the other day, just for storage purposes, and I have to admit that it looks smooth without them.
I work with some custom upholstery shops in my area and they are willing to smooth the top of the rear seat for a small fee, but I was curious if anyone has chopped the front seats?

I was thinking that making them level with the top of the door panel would look good. I'm not sure though. If anyone has any ideas, or better yet, some pictures, that would really help.

Thanks

Pretty good way to cause a spinal accident if you're ever in a wreck.

I thought about that. That is why I am unsure about even doing the fronts at all. If I had a million dollars, I would just buy an extra set of seats, chop them, and only put them in when I go to car shows, and meets.

Trust me, I am not one of the ignorant people on this site. I observe traffic laws and always wear my seltbelt.

that was my first thought, too. maybe get a set out of an old vw bug, and rework them for shows?

the old vw bug would have the same spinal problem.

any lowback seat will. it's a look for safety thing.

one of the guys on the forums redid his seats without the headrests and they looked good. reminded me of my 66 VW Bug seats.
I agree the neck situation is a major concern, but the look was very nice. pro's and con's, either way.

You could probably get a set for much cheaper than that Maybe like $200.

That guy has the best xB interior I've ever seen... I love the way he dyed the plastics to match the leather. Sick...
