I don't recall hearing about anyone trying it... so... there's a first time for everything. Good luck!

I put MKII Supra seats in my TC! Just the airbag doesn't work, and I have no seat belt, but it is still a work in progress. But just figuring out how to customize the seat brackets to bolt to the TC is the biggest challenge.

Thanks, and you got to love the pump up lumbar support! But best thing about these seats is they hold you in...

....gotta say i'm not feeling the looks of your seats...but if you like it that's what matters.

lol the lumbar support on my grandpas doesn't work. It took me forever to figure out what that stupid little pump thing was

How dare you say you don't like my seats on a public forum...ah just kidding, they aren't for everyone, but the kids love them, they go with my spiderman theme. I actually restored the lumbar, then after the upholstery it got a hole in the line when I relocated the release switches to the head rest, so it holds air for a little but sooner or later my back feels a little less support. lol

i'm not sure yet if i even want them.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOYOT...Q5fAccessories

i want something different than oe seats. i looked into the corbeau forza seats but after a little reviewing, they didn't look like much of a DD seat. the oe seats from an mr2 look like they would hold me in better than the oe tc seats. ugh i don't know.

how would i go about making my own bracket?

Here is the deal with customizing seats, you either have to make something that bolts to the stock locations then fits your seats. I welded new tabs to extend the hole location considering the brackets on the supra seats are wider than the TC's holes. Then after measuring to figure out were to drill the holes so that it would bolt down. It is a pain, even if you buy the premade bracket you still have to figure out how to modify it to the MR2 seats. If you do it and it works you will be happy, you will have airbag lights and need to find a female side for the seat belt, but you can use the one on the stock seats, and then you should be good to go.
