What exhaust is best for an automatic xB?

Default What exhaust is best for an automatic xB?

I know exhaust's are better for maual's but I have an auto box now and want to know which exhaust is the loudest (deep) and gives the most horsepower?

Do you want an axle back, cat back or full exhaust?How much are you willing to spend? Are you gonna stay N/A or go F/I somtime? Might be easier to suggest an exhaust with these questions answered.

Sorry, what do you mean by N/A or F/I? Also if I can get a catback for a reasonable price I'd do it, I'm looking at under $500 and hopefully under $350. Thanks for the help.

No prob, N/A= Natrually aspirated (all engine), F/I= Forced Induction ( using a turbo, a supercharger or nitrous). You could do a cat-back system for under $500. But its a little bit more involved of a mod( requires cutting of stock exhaust pipe) and depending on your abilities you may have to pay some one to do it (which will make you spend over the alotted $500)The catback system will yeild more HP and some good sound. An axle back would be an easier mod, but yeild less HP and a good sound.

There are tons of axlebacks to choose from check around, listen to some sound clips and see what you like. Im not sure but i beleive there is only one actual catback system, the magnaflow one ( even thou some people claim it is a catback it's really an axleback). I personally like the way the Precision Mufflers exhaust's sound but thats me, i had a DC Sports one before an it was okay.

Thank you all for your input, I think I'm going to go with the DC Sports exhaust for now.
