I'm wondering if a couple people could check out there rear bumper/lower skirt for cracked paint.

I was waxing my 05' PW xB yesterday when I noticed 5 different spots where the paint was cracked. These are stress cracks in the paint from a center impact, so basically what I have are rocks coming off my tires and hitting the inside of the bumper/skirt and cracking the paint on the outside.

Again, I noticed this when I was waxing. So a person would have to be sitting on the ground right infront of the bumper to see this. I tried to get a picture of it, but it did not turn out.

What I have is not a line crack in the paint. It looks like a impact point, with 4 to 5 cracks going straight out from that point.

hmm maybe your paint did not have enough flex in it

 

I've never noticed any on mine.
