Default Where to start?

Hi guys i'm basically brand new to this scion forum and right now i'm just looking for info, i just got my tC bout 2 weeks ago (flint mica).

So anyways once I get around 1500 miles on the car i'm gonna start modding it like crazy. Mods planned:

Zpi stage 1
tein basic dampning
full 3'' exhaust (what should buy for this?)
Engine dampner (the one from zpi)
kaminari body kit with wing and maybe hood
blue LEDS for guage cluster
Some sort of EBC
Reflash for ECU (does this come with the stage 1 already?)
Window tint
two db audio 10''s with there amp
Maybe new rims/tires but prolly not for awhile

Questions i have:
How hard is it to do all this stuff? I'm not super good with cars but i learn fast, Also i got my friends dads mechanic to help me if i get stuck while doing this stuff

Is it gonna cost a buttload to paint match flint mica?? seems like a very intregate color.

Where should i start? Just do the bolt ons first then go for the harder things, or build the whole car around the turbo?

My goal is a relieable 260-270 hp/torque tc that looks good and my budget is around 7-8k for next 2 years (yes its going to be a project car)

Any suggestons/comments are great.

all of that is going to cost you some serious change dude.

most of that can be done yourself. the tuning stuff i'd bring to a performance shop to do, The tint i would bring to a shop, but everything else seems doable given enough time and patience.

for the paint matching, look up honey0bucket (or whatever his crazy username is ). he has a FM that has had alot of it's pieces painted FM and they all match beautifully. alot of paint matching has to do with good paint. if you buy crap, more than liekly it wont look great. spend the money on good quality paint and do it right, it will match just fine.

order that i'd do it-
1. Tint, drop, engine damper
2. stage 1, electronics/tuning, exhaust
3. audio, body kit, gauges

if you succeed in getting 270 RELIABLE horses outta a tc for 8 Gs while still having enough left over for audio/cosmetic pieces, my hats off to you. sounds like Mission: Impossible to me.

however, you seem game to do most of the labor yourself, which will cut your costs in half.

i agree with the post above about the order.

a rear swaybar (or the hotchkis front and rear swaybar combination) would greatly help your handling.
maybe some interior mod's... paint some interior pieces to match the exterior (some don't like it, i personally think it makes the interior look classy) or maybe get some leather seat covers.
maybe think about some new brakes to bring that speed demon back down.

lots of possibilities :D
