I don't know, maybe is mental, maybe is not. BUT, I swear I feel those few little extra horse power kicking.
Will update later how is affecting the MPG, right now 29 to 31, all city.
I like all the open realstate in the eng. comparmetn.
One more week before the wheels get here :nails:

what is that stickin through your strut bar.
thats his breather hose that would of been connected to his air intake so it won't foul up his MAF sensor

While I was working on removing the stock filter and the assembly. I found out the bar came in pretty handy holding my rachet and screw drivers and just about anything else.
I was originally going to make a braket to hold that filter, but then I though, HEY if it can hold the tools, why couldn't it hold the filter too. I like the fact that the filer is above the engine too. Technically the oil won't leak out if it gets in the line.
So thats how it ended there.
OK, 3 weeks later.
1st week, it think with me testing the new intake, and as the wife puts it " the car is peppier" (she is the car driver) the MPG was 28.
2nd and 3rd week, the mpg went back to normal. 29 to 31. No increase, btu no decrease either.
Itdoes seem some extra pull when you want it.

This looks just like the intake I bought on Ebay for $50. Just like it. I've noticed and increase in noise and a little bit in the "butt dyno".
