No, look at the evos they have vents in them stock. You should be fine, it will help you more then it would harm you.

while we're on the subject of turbo and kaminari hood, since it is inverse cowl, i would htink there isn't much room for the turbo and the bottom of the cowl. Has anyone tested this and ran into fitment problems? as much as i would like to have that hood, I won't buy it if i have to mod it to fit with my turbo kit, so i may get the hood with vents closer to the windshield to help cool the engine top as well.

what about if it is going to be in combination with the GReddy Turbo kit, I think that the turbo manifold it would not touch the cowl.

too new to tell.

but for the people that ordered the kit, i know none of them has the kaminari hood.

but for the price of the hood, i would rather buy 2" flex hoses and drill out a 2" hole on the side vent cover, bondo it with the hose. then route the hose inside the engine.

downside is , more dirt and dust.

the Kaminari RC hood does not come with a rain guard. Sorry. The only vented hood I know of that comes with rain guard is the AIT one.
