i coulda swore it said $3301w tax and install yesterday..oh well. im having a hard time finding a dealer that would install the s/c for me even if i bought the s/c from trd sparks. i sure as hell dont wanna pay taxes for the s/c

Ordered mine from trdsparks ($2985 shipped)... should arrive Wednesday. Driving to York, PA on Thursday night, hanging out in a hotel and having the install done friday for $400+tax.
So around $3400 installed not counting hotel charges & gas for the 2.5 hour drive each way
I'll just pick a place with a pool and bring my 4yo daughter along. She's a total water rat.

There is a holiday inn and other hotels further out on RT 30

Also Diehl has the Reflash Tool, they did my buddies S/C, I believe they have over 10+ S/C installs under their belt.

Wow, that SUCKS.
I'm actually heading to Burlington NJ for mine, I made SURE they had all the stuff needed to do mine. $65/hr labor, 8 hrs, they have the ECU reflash tool. Was gonna do York, PA, but it's 3h each way for a $15/hr discount. Not worth it.
For what it's worth, they can finish the job at your dealer and the car is perfectly driveable without the ECU reflash - and the dealer in Caldwell NJ (www.caldwelltoyota.com) DEFINITELY has the reflash kit and shouldn't be heinously far from you. Theyve done several SC's, but their labor is kind of high.
This is my MAJOR problem with dealers.... mechanics get pulled around on different jobs (oil changes) and just flat out stop working on your car while they do the "quick jobs". But they will keep on charging you that labor rate!
