Default Hello from the past

I sold my RS1 about a year ago and now want a new xB. The only thing I did not like about my first one was the automatic gear shift ****. I would hit the over drive button with my leg. I am thinking maybe a manual this time. I never drove a manual xB before. Is there much difference in the acceleration?

I will be hanging around some more I guess, gotta learn from you guys all I can.

You can control the shift when you have a manual so you should be able to get better acceleration. More power--that will not change.

No, the Vette was a manual. I just never drove a manual xB to compare it with an automatic xB.

Yup. The stick will be about 80 feet ahead of the auto getting on the freeway...

The stick will also be wound tighter at cruise than the auto, which is why the auto gets a little better milage on the highway.

Welcome back! :D

Well, I went down to the Scion dealer today and ordered a new xB. I am getting a base model white one with the manual tranny and floor mats. It should be here on the 24th of May! It will be nice zipping around in the xB compared to my crew cab.
