First Fiberglass Mod w/ Picture
Nothing crazy, but finished my first fiberglass mod to mold in my Kenwood retractable hu in the storage area.
I cut out the door that used to be there and used the edges as a frame. I then centered the plastic border that snaps over the outside of the kenwood in the frame and "welded" it with hot glue. Stretched speaker cloth over this frame and painted five coats of fiberglass resin. Used some bondo to smooth things out and then sanded smooth. Primed and painted.
