i live in dallas texas and we are getting quite a bit of 10% ethanol fuel at the pumps. does anyone know if the 93 octane (we have 87, 89 and 93 usually) 10% ehtanol mix will harm my engine with the TRD supercharger? I HATE CHANGE!

 

it may help , ethanol is alcohol which has a much higher octane rating . so u might be able to run more timing without detonation .

 

Go for the 93 with ethanol

 

It works fine. Toyota/TRD had to spec the S/C for 91 octane E10 in order to be legal in California.

 

it should be fine, since the car N/A was made to handle it, i am sure the s/c is as well, otherwise you would here about a recall, before the reformulated gas was even released.
