9:00 AM Pet Product Expo opens (South Lawn)

11:15 AM Awards Ceremony & Amazing Dog Tricks Competition (South Lawn)

The Furry 5k raises money for the Help the Animals Fund, which provides veterinary care and supplies for sick, injured or abused orphaned shelter animals. The Seattle Animal Shelter takes in nearly 8,000 animals from annually. Of those, many receive the lifesaving care they need thanks to the generous donations of individuals and companies. The HTAF is an integral part of saving lives – with annual veterinary expenses of approximately $100,000, every dollar raised counts!

Boy, Gracie would love to do something like this, hope we can make it, but nothings for sure right now, will have to wait and see.

 

I would totally do this if my dog was not so freaking hyper..........she would not walk, just bounce.....

Hmm... i think my dog would love to do this (that is if i still have him in June....... very long story)

 

I was thinking about it but I have a marathon in San Diego a week before that and usually it takes me a few weeks after a marathon to feel like going out and doing an event. BUT...maybe I'll go out to watch. I imagine the animal shelter will accept donations there?

 

Dude, a marathon......? I cna't even imagine running that far let alone doing anything for awhile afterwards......

At the very least, I should bethere for support.......but I am thinking there is something else happening that day......
