Default Fastest tC (1/4 Mile)

Without counting the all motor alcohol 9 second tC, or the titan tC with the 2JZ running 6.44 @ 220... Who has the fastest tC currently?

Is it ZPI's car that runs low 12s?

I see all these turbo kits coming out & being installed but no time slips. What gives?

She might of had a terrible run that day but the car has hit 9's a few times.

The car weighs 1,750lbs. and has 320whp.

Yeah, it barely even looks like a tC anymore.

Yeah that day in dinwitty I wasnt to impressed. In my eyes that is not a 10 second tC. That is a 10 Second dragster. A street legal Supra can do that with full body and interior. Kinda like the RWD, with 2JZ engine tC that doesnt even look like a tC. Ok so it did 6 seconds, but what is tC about it?

here are the pics I took:

I've seen the titan celica run a few times in person and that thing was sweet.. After running hulk-hogan was hanging out around it with his supra parked just a few feet away.

Considering the titan tC is now beating the celica I would love to see a few runs.. 220mph in a 1/4 mile is amazing.

But like Nick06tC said, it's just made to look like a tC..

all marketing. But still..we're all part of the Toyota/scion team.. the 2JZ is a gem that all Toyota/scion people can appreciate and claim as "ours".

You don't see honda motors out there running those times. Maybe v8s...

Nice time. Is that still able to be used as a daily driver in that setup?

What ever happened to the Jo-tech tC that made 533whp?

Did he just throw 20" rims on it, take a few pics for the magazines then call it a day?

That car should be taken to the track with some smaller rims and slicks, it would definately be in the 11s with a decent driver.

Making 500+ on the the 2AZ (I believe they were still using stock block?) at god knows how much PSI that drag car would probably last all of 660 ft down the track!

Thing was purely a dyno queen.

It was a completely built & stroked engine.

Even if they turned down the boost a little I think they could hit a high 11 with slicks..

The Jotech Built car has the potential to be very very quick. Unfortunately it was built to be a show car for Nitto Tires. I'm not really sure if it will ever hit the track again or not. You will have to ask Kenny Tran that next time you see him out at the track. :D
