Default Radio few questions

Hi guys/gals,
I have an 06 Scion XB and i am looking into getting the Pioneer AVIC-N1. My cousin said that he woud install it for me. Would my AUX still work if that is installed? Will the controls on the steering wheel still work? I am also getting the Sirius Sportster, would that work with the pioneer system? Any info would be appreciated!

Thanks

the console mounted aux input will no longer be functional.

Get a Pioneer CD-RB10. It's an auxilary input: RCA connection. You can use 3.5mm mini plug to RCA adapter for your Sirius. You'll just have to turn the AUX on in the unit's programming, like where you set your clock.

actually the SWI-Pio would be a better choice. Easier to program and it plugs right in into the back of the radio so you dont need to aim an "eye" towards the radio.
you'll also need a dash kit and a 70-1761 harness, tap the VSS and parking brake and all is well, good luck. Also , if you want Sirius Id get the Sirius direct plug-in piece instead of the sportster so that way the radio is doing it all and you dont need 2 pieces. If you want the cc input to work then wire it up using a CD-RB10 style aux in. Get a 3.5mm to rca cord and cut the 3.5mm end off and solder it to the wires going to the radio so that way you still have the Sirius, cd, dvd, navi, and an aux input!
