Well I have been inspired to get the IVA-W200. I am having an extremely hard time finding a good price, so I'm just going to go with Crutchfield and the no interest for 6 months. I'll get all the installation stuff and what not and not pay taxes or shipping. Overall it will be cheaper than Best Buy and I'm hesitant about dumping 800 bucks on a site that looks sketchy.

Anyway, I study wiring diagrams before I attempt anything so I can get in and get it done. I'm looking at the wiring diagram and it shows a fuse on the battery wire. Does this wire have to go directly to the battery or can I just connect it to the wiring harness. Additionally does the ground wire HAVE to go directly to the chassis or can it once again be connected to the wiring harness. Basically is it like any ole stereo installation?

One more question, can I install the full speed ipod AND xm? Or is it just one or the other? Thanks!

yea all new radios have a fuse on the main power wire ( yellow) you can run it right to the wire on the harness without a problem ( as long as its the same gauge wire) or you can run it to the fuse box, and piggy back it off another fuse, like the windows, or heater or something like that (if your familiar with doin that ) i would just hook it to the harness power wiree

Just installed the 200 into the wifes tC on Saturday. Just use the harness for the power and ground. As for the iPod and XM, they are seperate connections on the back of the 200. The XM uses the AI net and the iPod is it's own connection/cable. Both work very well...she is happy with it and so am I!
