Probably a stupid question, but - anyone know where I can find a sound clip of a car without a CAI vs. a car with CAI?

Doesnt have to be a scion, but even better if it is.

 

Or maybe someone could just tell me if the TRD intake is going to make my car sound obnoxious to people walking/driving around my car?

I want that growling acceleration sound inside the car, but I dont want it to sound loud and annoying to eveyrone else...like some of those oversized exhausts you see on civics.

a CAI cannot make a car sound obnoxious..

 

all you're going to get is a whistle when you go past a certain throttle position. not obnoxious at all.

It's just a nice low 'hiss' under the hood. It's not even all that loud, but it will be a little more noticable on our very quiet running cars. And it will give you a little more of a 'growl' when you rev the engine.

A huge, free-flow exhaust--now that will make your car sound obnoxious. You shouldn't worry about the intake.

 

it's not obnoxious.. You can trick people into thinking that you have a really cheap sc or turbo.. haha i got tricked..
